Swissmetal introduces flexible working time – Agreement signed by all parties – Retroactive implementation by HR Administration as of 1 January 2005 Dornach, 11 July 2005
With the introduction of annual working time at its Dornach plant, Swissmetal today concluded the legal, technical and administrative implementation of its flexible working time model. The final version of the agreement was signed by all the parties involved in the negotiations on 4 July and annual working time will now be introduced with retroactive effect as of 1 January 2005. Flexible working time arrangements give Swissmetal greater leeway in adjusting its HR costs in the cyclical copper business in line with the market situation, thus allowing it to also reduce staff turnover. |
